Our clinic has been part of our community since the 1970’s under the ownership of Ivan Fuyala and originally based on the corner of Red Beach Rd. We moved to our current premises in 1991 into a purpose built clinic.

Orewa Vet Hospital has been established in the community since the late 1970s, under the initial ownership of Ivan Fuyala and then Brett Finlayson who purchased the clinic in early 2004.

After being on the corner of Red Beach Road for many years the clinic moved to its present location 19 Moenui Avene in Orewa in 1991. This new clinic was purpose built with ample parking, a large reception area, a large consult room, dedicated preparation room, dedicated surgery room and a large recovery/hospital area and cat boarding room.

Being established in a rapidly growing community as long as we have has given us the chance to become part of people families; we are now serving the children of original clients and their families. Our clinic has a great family feel with all of our staff having children at varying stages of life from toddlers to adults with children of their own.

2007 saw the creation of a branch in Silverdale to further enhance our ability to help our clients, we even had a dog groomer there. She has now moved to her own premises and has her business called Pampered Pup.

We closed this clinic in 2013 to allow for exciting growth to occur.

Now in 2015 a new purpose built hospital is up and running in Millwater to service a growing number of our clients that have moved to this beautiful part of the Hibiscus Coast.

We are available 24 hours 7 days a week for emergencies and we are the only clinic on the Hibiscus Coast that offers this service.
